Data is stored in the battery and communicated to the charger via a unique impres communication protocol which is designed to maximize talk time and optimize battery cycle life � all automatically.

Motorola Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries have a higher energy-to-weight ratio than NiMH batteries, offering a lighter, smaller power supply for more compact devices. They also offer a major advantage of not experiencing �memory effect.�
