Motorola impres� batteries, when used with a Motorola impres charger, provide automatic, adaptive reconditioning, end of life display, and other advanced features. Data is stored in the battery and communicated to the charger via a unique impres communication protocol which is designed to maximize talk time and optimize battery cycle life � all automatically.

Motorola Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries can work 40% to 50% longer between charges than NiCd batteries of similar size, but do not operate as efficiently in extreme temperatures. NiMH contain fewer toxic chemicals, so disposal is more environmentally friendly.
